International Network Engineering Company to Extend its Services to the Broadband Industry with Auspice TLX® Service Operations Automation Platform and Auspice OpsLogic™ Suite of Broadband Operations Automation Solutions

Framingham, MA and Herndon, VA - Sept. 11, 2003 - Auspice Corporation, The Enterprise Control Company, and ECHO Broadband, an international network engineering and technology solutions company, announced that they have signed a definitive reseller and systems integration agreement. According to the agreement, ECHO will resell and integrate Auspice software - the Auspice TLX real-time systems integration and service operations automation platform and the Auspice OpsLogic suite of broadband operations automation solutions to its global communications clients.

ECHO plans to use Auspice's platform and solutions to help solve a wide range of problems for service providers' network operations centers, customer care support functions and field operations. Under the agreement, ECHO also gains access to Auspice technology updates, training and strategic partner support. Leveraging Auspice's TLX, a market proven, rapidly-deployable technology platform, ECHO will use its systems integration, solution extension and broadband industry expertise to develop and deploy solutions that can achieve positive return on investment for its customers in weeks.

Auspice TLX platform and OpsLogic solutions are currently deployed by a number of leading Multi-System Operators (MSOs) to deliver end-to-end manageability and higher reliability of the services they offer, such as cable-based high-speed Internet access, telephony and video. Auspice solutions bring unprecedented value to an MSO's service operations by monitoring, integrating, correlating and automating processes across their business and operations support systems and networked devices.

Fast, positive return on investment from Auspice-based solutions includes:

  • Resolving customer problems at their first point of contact with customer service representatives;
  • Reducing network and customer reported problems;
  • Reducing overall mean-time-to-repair of the service network;
  • Reducing the number of truck rolls to address trouble tickets;
  • Increasing efficiency of network operations, customer service and field service technician staff to handle a growing customer base.

ECHO's service offerings range from small consulting projects to full turnkey project delivery. By carefully determining the specific requirements of each of its customers, ECHO matches its services to the needs of each specific customer and provides the highly customized solution for an affordable price.

About Auspice
Founded in 1997, Auspice, The Enterprise Control Software Company, is the first commercial developer of an enterprise control software platform that enables enterprises and networked service providers to manage disparate technology infrastructure in an orchestrated manner to dramatically improve operations reliability and efficiency. With its roots in the modern-day manned space program, Auspice's TLX platform was originally developed for mission-critical and complex operational environments, such as the International Space Station (for NASA), which are characterized by heterogeneous systems that demand absolute reliability. Auspice is also the developer of the TLX-based OpsLogic Broadband Solution Suite - a set of integrated operations automation applications for broadband service providers. OpsLogic Solution Suite was developed on and can be extended with the Auspice TLX platform to meet the specific needs of individual service providers. Auspice TLX and Auspice OpsLogic applications are currently deployed at leading North American MSOs. Visit www.auspicecorp.com.
