ASIA GIS 2006

The Sixth International Conference on ASIA GIS was held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Skudai, Johor, Malaysia on 9 - 10 March 2006.

ECHO Broadband was represented by our Global GIS Manager - Mr. Lai Chee Siew - who presented a white paper entitled:

“Enterprise-wide Geospatial System for HFC Networks" – a Perspective of GIS Implementation in Germany as part of the world's largest CATV Upgrade Project.

The ASIA GIS Association was formed to bring together the entire GIS community across Asia and it provides a multidisciplinary network and forum for people involved in GIS teaching, research, development, applications, hardware, and software to interact with each other to exchange ideas and information on the latest developments in this rapidly changing technology.
