Universities who are pursuing Diploma in Geomatic Science / Land Surveyor / Architecture / Mechanical / Electronic &
Electrical to gain working experience before starting their career.

Computer Aided Design Drafters (CADD)
(Positions closed)
Responsibilities:
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD, Microstation, Smallworld, ESRI, Integraph and other GIS software
- Produce technical details drawings, symbols, construction diagrams, GIS map and data collection
- Perform QA/QC for drafting work package based on original data source provided
- Ensure accuracy of data, graphic standard and specification is correctly drafted into current project system software
Requirements:
- Technical Diploma/Certificate in CAD
- Those without the above qualifications but with relevant years of CAD drafting experience are also encouraged to apply
- Graduates registered with the Economy Planning Unit are also encouraged to apply
- Willing to work in Penang / Kuala Lumpur (located in TPM)
- Willing to work on shifts
- Training will be provided
- Ability to comprehend English and has right working attitude
System & Database Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Support the database and system include planning, installing, configuring, maintaining and optimizing the system and database server
- Manage logical and physical database configurations, troubleshoot problems and be accountable for the successful delivery of projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field with 1 to 2 years of working experience on database administration
- Possess good database administration and troubleshooting skill
- Knowledge of SQL 2000/SQL2005/Oracle are mandatory
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active, self motivated, able to work in a team and independently
- Priority will be given to candidate familiar with major GIS software
Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer overall project costing, budgets, schedule and resource planning
- Support Project Manager on project delivery
- Coordinate and correspond with the client to leverage relationships and ensure ECHO's strategies and tactical actions are integrated across geographical boundaries to focus and meet the client's goals
- Encourage and nurture entrepreneurial attitude and develop new skills and capabilities
- Administer the development of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Prepare annual budgets for the project to meet the clients Business Plan or Goals
- Ensure high quality of work and deliver the best value to the client
- Vendor evaluation and negotiation
- Sub-contractor evaluation and negotiation
- Ensure ECHO achieves its business plan and revenue projection
- Ensure high level of teamwork in the Project Delivery Team
Requirements:
- 35 years and above
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Geography, Survey, Planning, Geo-Informatics and Electrical Engineering or other related technical degree
- More than 5 years experience in project management and implementation
- Experience in Telecom, GIS and data capture project will be an added advantage
- Experience in managing team size more than 10 peoples
- Good written and verbal presentation skills in English language
- Must have leadership qualities, people skills and understand customer values
- Experience in cost management, scheduling, planning and organizing
- Experience in Quality Control related activities
- Must have desire to be successful and always a solution provider
- Willing to travel when required
